Do you believe, with praises you can win the battle or face the obstacles? What is the whole reason and concept behind praising God?
We all want to be Angels and be with God.

Ever wondered what they do in Heaven? Read Isaiah 6:1-4. So once we finish with this race of faith, we will join the angels and sing praises unto his name.
“Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was, who is, and who is to come.”
Just start practicing. Keep praising God.

Amidst the darkest valley of life, can a person truly praise God?  Let’s find our answer in the Bible.
Once i read 2 Chronicles 20:21 “Praise the Lord! His love is eternal.”
Though I just randomly read the verse, my inner spirit was longing to know about this verse. And that changed my life.
Imagine this very day, three deadliest armies are against you and what are you doing?
  •   You aren’t shaping the edges of your sword.
  •   You aren’t planning strategies.
  •   You aren’t working on your military equipments.
  •   Spears, shields, bows, swords…..NOTHING!!!

  •   When Edomites, Ammonites and Moabites decided to invade Judah, Jehoshaphat, the king asked for the Lord’s guidance. [GOOD]
  •   Declares a fast. [OK VERY GOOD]
  •   But on the day of battle, he made some musicians to put on robes and march ahead and sing, “Praise the Lord! His Love is eternal” [ARE YOU KIDDING?]
  •   That’s hard to digest and you may start praying, “Lord, Give me the grace to believe in your majesty”
  •   And my Lord took me to read Joshua 6:20
  •   “Walls of Jericho broke down when they gave a loud shout”
  •   Praising God has such a power!!! In both the cases Lord enabled them to have their promised land.

  •   BELIEVE IT OR NOT, half of our agonies and tensions are because we do not trust God 100%.
  •   Praising Lord releases us to worship.
  •   Praise lifts our eyes from the battle.
  •   Jesus out-does the expectation of his people.
So when this whole army of Jehoshaphat was praising God, as they reach the battlefield, “Wow! They already won!”

“Just take up your positions and wait; you will see Lord give you victory. The Lord will be with you. (2 Chronicles 20:17)”.
Just imagine you are praising God and as you are about to reach your battlefield, Our God is waiting there with the cup of Victory. We may not be expert with arms needed to fight a battle. The same was the case with King David when he fought Goliath but Believe and Praise the living God.
As it is written

What God tells you through this verse...?
  1. It is written in Ecclesiastes 8:17 "... then I saw all that God has done. No one can comprehend what goes on under the sun. Despite all their efforts to search it out, no one can discover its meaning. Even if the wise claim they know, they cannot really comprehend it."
  2. Lean not on your own wisdom and knowledge
  3. Battle depends on God.
    • seek him
    • believe him
    • "You will succeed, not by military might or by your own strength, but by my spirit."
    • "Obstacles as great as mountains will disappear before you" Zechariah 4:6-7
    • Praise the Lord, his love is eternal("God is love").
    • Praise the Lord, his mercy endures forever.("Your sins are forgiven").
    • Praise the Lord, his faithfulness endures forever.("Let thy will be done").
